I love running shoes. I have seven pairs. I don’t buy them for running. I buy them for comfort, and for style, and for how they make me feel when I wear them. I’m not a shoe whore by definition, but I am regularly distracted by thoughts of buying more. I’ve got a fever, and the only cure is not more cow bell – the cure is buying another pair or two.
We shot a 35mm spot for Fleet Feet many years ago, out off Jackson Hwy on a back road near Sloughhouse. The long focus and golden hour lighting are sublime. It’s one of my favorites.
I like buying my shoes at Fleet Feet. The sales people always provide excellent personal service despite my taking forever trying on lots of shoes. I prefer Brooks 2-to-1 over Asics, and I have one pair of NB too. Mostly women’s because the colors are so much better than men’s.
